All classes this week (except for AP Drawing) have one lesson that is broken up into three pieces.

Piece One- You are to watch the Movie At Eternities Gate. This is an Oscar Winning film about Vincent Van Gogh. You can rent it on Youtube for $4 or you can rent it for free if you subscribe to AmazonPrime.

Piece Two- You are to write an incitful honest critique of the film and express your thoughts as to how or if the film affected you in any way. This should be a full typed page using 11/12 font size. Be sure to put your name at the top and your class. You will be graded on your reflections that show me that you took time to watch the film and you can articulate your honest feelings about the film.

Piece Three- When you come to art class you are to help yourself to the paper cabinet in the back of the room. Choose any size paper. You then are to reproduce your favorite Vincent Van Gogh work of art. You may use any media as long as you clean up after yourself. Place your work on a drying rack in the back of the room with your name on it. You have the full week to complete this work of art. It will be presented to me on Monday December 4th for a grade.

Each piece will count as 33 points towards your final grade for this lesson.

If you feel you wish to work on the art piece each day of this week then obtain a note from the teacher allowing you to come into the art class to work on it and present it to the substitute. If you have any questions about this lesson then please email me at Daniel.Bonnell@sccpss.com.

I look forward to seeing all of you on Dec. 4th!
